Familiarize yourself with your insurance policy and consult with your agent if you have scheduled any procedures with them. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. It is important to consider that there may be excess payments and possible delays in coverage confirmation.

If your admission to the hospital is for a scheduled procedure, please come to the Hospital in advance and ask for Support from Patient Services and/or Insurance Companies so we may be able to advise you concerning your coverage and even start the process in advance.

Considerations for National Insurance

  • In case you do not submit a letter of guarantee from your insurance company, another form deposit will be required; for instance, a credit card voucher while the Hospital received your insurance documents.
  • Due to different circumstances, there may be delays in confirming your insurance coverage, such as:
  • Verification process of each insurance company.
  • There was not enough time to process the application, because the hospital stay was too short.

  • At the time of your discharge you must pay the additional expenses. There may be some charges you might have incurred into and will therefore be asked to pay, such as medical expenses or a room rate that is over the allowable limit, as well as personal expenses. In this case, it is the patient’s responsibility to pay the deductible and coinsurance as indicated by patient’s policy.
  • We do not accept government, veteran’s or Social Security benefits.
  • We will not process any insurance claim if you have already been discharged from the hospital.

  • Not enough time to process the application because the hospital stay was too short.
  • Time zone difference.
